The lace day, Klöppeln zwischen den Meeren, has developed over the years into an attraction for hundreds of lacemakers. And they come not only from Schleswig-Holstein and the neighbouring German states but also from adjoining countries such as Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands. Changing exhibitions of traditional and modern lace are always a source of new ideas. Several bobbin lace associations are represented at their information stands and finally there are also the sales stands at which one can stock up with materials for the next months and learn about the latest trends. It is easy to get talking over a cup of coffee with old (and new) acquaintances.
