18 bobbin-made mats and doilies, designed during the second half of the 20th century by Helene Schneider, a German lace teacher and graduate from the Schneeberg lace school.

The lace is more or less designed in the traditional style of the Erzgebirge region, mainly in Guipure, Torchon, and tape lace techniques.

The size of the round mats varies between 12 and 39 cm Ø, with the oval mats between 19×30 cm and 41×80 cm. Most of the mats are bobbin-made throughout, but three patterns require a cloth insertion. The patterns are meant to be worked in several rounds with but a few pairs.

Nice colour photos, prickings and short instructions.
